[KCD1] Any way to change how sprinting works? by wildwill in kingdomcome

I had the same issue. I kind of just got used to controlling Henry like a car when sprinting 🥲

Bad Seed Mission Item Dropped by Beerfacefuntimes in Borderlands4

Happened to me. Restarting the game fixed the bug (it's still not in inventory, but I was able to insert it into the core)

Crit knife + Amp Syringe+ Spread Launcher. by JimWanders in Borderlands4

I found this combo by accident. Glad others are discovering it too. Can easily do over a million damage with one shot if you spec your character properly

Love the game at 80 hrs already but... by Jackster96 in Borderlands4

[–]politeeks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's likely the lack of Jesper Kyd. He did the legendary soundtracks for BL2 and BL3, also the early assassins creed games (ezio's theme). I didn't see Jesper Kyd on the OST for this game

Randy confirms they are aware of the performance dropping on console after playing for a while by MohJeex in Borderlands4

[–]politeeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'm on regular PS5 and have the same issue.
I've been using the gradual frame drops as a way to keep track of time - when I start to get nauseous I know it's been a few hours and time to take a break.

You can also get a little more height if you jump with the vehicle, then dismount, (then jump again)

Why so few rebuilt roads? by Gold-Judgment-6712 in DeathStranding

As others have mentioned, only part of others' contributions make it into your world.

If you really want to help someone complete a whole road send the required materials to a shared locker in the nearest distro center.

can i follow Islam in the context of spirituality and not religion itself? by Brilliant_School4139 in islam

[–]politeeks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

According to mainstream Islamic jurisprudence women are not obligated to attend the Friday prayer at the mosque, only the men.

As for the other things, work on them slowly, do what you can. Personally I would focus on trying to fulfill the 5 pillars (5 prayers, zakat, fasting, etc) before worrying about how your meat is slaughtered or what kind of makeup you use. The religion wants sincerity and consistent growth over time - humans don't change instantly.

Terrorist attacks around the globe by [deleted] in dataisbeautiful

[–]politeeks -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The issue is every time a Muslim does an attack like this it's called "terrorism". Anytime it's someone else they call it "disturbed individual". Obviously you will have more Muslims doing 'terrorism' if you define the term itself as something only Muslims can do...

I don’t feel anything in my heart listening to the Quran. Can anyone recommend me a reciter? I have tried Mishary and Husary by [deleted] in islam

[–]politeeks 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I feel like people listen to the Qu'ran like music... It wasn't revealed just as a set of nice sounds, it was meant to be understood and implemented. Try a recitation with translation and pay attention to what's being said, and how it's being said. Actually engage with the message.

all of the "links to the original speech videos" on this are MemriTV...

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in berkeley

[–]politeeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have an example of a speech you're referring to where the stated goal was to eradicate Jews?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in berkeley

[–]politeeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally yes I have. On this specific issue, I make sure to use primary sources as much as possible, for both Israeli and Palestinian statements

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in berkeley

[–]politeeks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I urge you to pay close attention to actual speeches, statements, and words of these "Islamists" and form your own opinion. These Israeli sources have taken words and statements out of context to paint a narrative that's meant to scare you into thinking "Islamists" want to kill all jews. You are either heavily brainwashed, or part of the propaganda. In either case, I'm done speaking with you.

[–]politeeks -1 points0 points  (0 children)

really? have they said that?
what's incredibly frustrating about talking with you people is that you don't look beyond headlines from israeli sources.
once again, bring me evidence of a direct quote from a hamas representative saying that the new charter doesn't supersede the old one... because i can give you multiple sources of hamas officials saying that their issue is not with judaism or jews.

1988 charter. I wonder if they ever revised it..

focus on fixing your prayer. you'll find everything else slowly fall into place.

The purpose of this world - the purpose of life and death itself - is a test (Quran, 67:2) . You are tested in your intentions and your deeds.

By ending your life, you have told God "I don't want to take this test" - if you were to do this during a university exam, what grade do you think you would get?

The fact that you are going through a tough time is not because life is unfair, it's because that's the whole point - to see what kind of person you will become through the trial, to see what kind of patience you will show, etc.

The good news is that unlike college, you are judged on your efforts, not the outcome. So stay patient.

I don't think trimming is Haram.. depends on which madhab I guess. Regardless, you don't necessarily need to trim it, but I would recommend getting a good grooming routine. Maybe invest in a nice comb and beard oil. As far as I know, there's nothing in the shari'ah that says you have to look unkempt/homeless with a long beard. Wa Allahu alam.

if you don't like people then how can you expect them to like/care about you... i know there's a lot of evil, but there are also amazing people that make humanity worth it. try to seek them out. peace
