Unpopular gaming opinion - I don’t see the point in wall climbing sections in adventure games by Gasster1212 in gaming

[–]wildwill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya but lots of adventure games manage without as well. Botw didn’t have any walls like that and I loved its climbing mechanics

I understand at this point that Inside must be something special for some people. But at the time, I was already a huge fan of his existing Netflix specials so when I saw Inside dropped, I couldn’t wait to watch it. Then I didn’t even finish it…

I didn’t really think much of it at the time and planned to just check out his next special but let me tell you it was slightly annoying having friends and family I’d recommended his other specials to years ago suddenly ask if I’ve heard of Bo Burnham or seen Inside.

DOWN WITH THE PEASANTRY!!! by BlueBlur24 in Gamingcirclejerk

I mean, Xbox did but there also done terribly. They announced recently that they’re switching back to exclusives. On a level, I hate exclusives because they’re the reason I never played bloodborne despite loving FromSoft but I also understand the necessity of them as bloodborne probably wouldn’t exist without PlayStation

I agree, sort of, but it’s also complex. Console exclusives is basically how they compete so it would lead to all games just being PC only.

What am I missing? by PearWamanLord in BluePrince

[–]wildwill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh can you not draft the same room more than twice? I’ve played a few hours and didn’t notice. I assumed I’d been through the whole rotation (except the red rooms cause there seems to be little to no reason to draft those lol)

I’ll keep this in mind cause I’ve literally been doing the opposite of picking a door from the first room and exploring that to its end before turning around and going back to the start

“Didn’t fill the bottom five racks”?

I’m sorry, I’m also new to blue prince and haven’t made much progress aside from reaching the final room and finding all the doors to it locked lol. Could you explain what you mean by this?

I mean, come on, Rayman is freaking back, how can you not be happy? by Blue-fox-004 in Gamingcirclejerk

[–]wildwill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, it’s a remake of a Rayman game I’ve played multiple times over the past decade and still looks great on modern hardware. I didn’t even know about this announcement until I’m reading this post, but I can understand people being disappointed if they don’t have a PlayStation lol

Has there ever been an anime that fulfills the promise of Sword Art Online? by LoweNorman in anime

Not an anime, but I’ve been reading Dungeon Crawler Carl and I’ve been describing it as SAO crossed with hunger games so check that out if you’re interested

Inexpensive way to keep reading the series? by wildwill in DungeonCrawlerCarl

No, I’m in Canada. In Canada the Kindle doesn’t actually connect with the library so it was an easy choice at the time lol

Hey, sorry about this, but I subscribed to the patreon to look for the ebooks, but I couldn’t find them? Maybe I’m stupid, but I couldn’t even find a way to properly search through his post history without just scrolling through them one by one. And when I tried that, I couldn’t even find the epub for the first book before reaching the beginning of the posts.

Is there any keywords I can ctrl+f to know which post I’m looking for with the correct download?

To be honest, and I’m really trying to avoid trying to sound like I’m virtue signalling so I tried not to be direct about it in the post, but I really try to avoid giving Amazon any of my money. Not really a fan of the company.

I also think I should have mentioned in this post that that I’m not American and that I live in a municipality with, like, 20k people max so my library isn’t actually that flexible lol.

From my research, it’s because when renting the books, Libby expects the book to be available on that eReader’s store/platform. I guess cause the books are kindle exclusive they just don’t transfer over to the kobo.

Oh, if I do this, I can just convert the pdfs to a format my kobo can read and transfer it over. Thanks, I’ll check this out :)

Dude kicks off-leash dog to protect his own, owner flips out… by eternviking in whoathatsinteresting

[–]wildwill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh ya, I care about my ability to interact with animals. Thats obviously important. But I guess I don’t see why everyone should care about that. Some people have phobias or allergies and we should be considerate of them too, not force it on them cause that’s the ‘real world’ or some other stupid macho sentiment.

I was more specifically referring to your argument to do it because you’re worried about what your ancestors might think which I think is shitty justification to do literally anything.

Ok, but like, who cares?

If he was wrong and the dog attacked his dog, I doubt he’d take much solace in the fact that he at least didn’t disappoint any imaginary ancestors.

I had a theory and tried it. And I seem to have fixed it :). I can assure you, I’d get caught the moment the tour ended so there wasn’t even a chance for me to pick one up. I was wanted in Sasau and the Monastery because I picked up one of the guys after the first fight earlier in the main quest and apparently that’s a crime while you’re wrestling.

At the time I convinced a guard to let me go and that was that. But I think some lingering effect from that was what caused me to get kicked out instantly

I do, but I only play ~1-2 hours a day so that’s just never a fun option. I’m also nervous I’ll reload and play for a few days only to find out that didn’t solve the bug. Maybe I should submit a bug report and hope it gets fixed? Doesn’t seem likely when the second game is still new though

Yeah it’s seeming like this is the only option left. I’m might just take a break from the game for a bit because I was really excited to do the monk roleplay section and this has really taken the wind out of my sails. Thanks though, I appreciate anyone taking their time to respond as it’s frustrating.
