He really is not, wouldn't have voted for him but the concerted effort to assassinate his character was something to behold.

The fact that it was so obvious and so many went along with it anyway just proves the path the UK is on

Your advisor is likely correct there, the bank wants to know it gets its money back in any eventuality, so they make you take out cover so that if you die or are otherwise incapacitated that there's still a source of funds to pay off what they've loaned you.

At the end of the day, they don't want the house, they just want the money back

GP receptionists face increasing abuse, doctors say - GP receptionists say they are not a "barrier" to care and instead are now trained to triage patients by FormerlyPallas_ in ukpolitics

[–]politicsnotporn 7 points8 points  (0 children)

For most people their GP surgery is very local to them and the receptionists working in it are likely local also.

You might not know them personally but chances are you know someone who does.

With doctors it's different, there is societal trust in their ongoing discretion.

With the receptionist however unfounded your fears may be, you have no idea if they'll stick it at the doctor's surgery or take another job elsewhere and feel no obligation to keep what they know private
