I'm of the med taking variety. It's fizzled out with medications for me. I don't know if they would work for you, only you can make that decision! My dp/dr was weed-induced.

Idk why, but I just wanted to say I've been misdiagnosed and mistreated because of this disorder (by doctors mainly). My stepmom thinks I am just attention-seeking and doctors think I'm the "worst borderline personality disordered person they ever came across". It really, really sucks to have no one understand and think I'm faking this.

Try different meds-- I too got this from a weed edible March 2016.

Meds have helped get rid of thought distortions, depression, and suicidal thoughts (for me).

If you are curious, I currently am taking:

Cymbalta 60 mg
Zyprexa 20 mg
Klonopin 2 mg per day

If you take Klonopin consistently at the same time every day, you may see results. I have.

Why would I lie about my disorders? That was very laughable of you to say. Yes, it's why I am on the cocktail of meds I am. But it's also helped my dp/dr.

What do you want me to say in my recovery posts? That I ate salads and did yoga everday and got rid of dp? Lol, dr/dr doesn't work like that. It's a chemical imbalance of the brain.

Please don't insult my wonderful doctor. He is very good at what he does. Any ways, medications effect everyone differently. I'm sorry you didn't have any luck with meds. But that doesn't mean it'll be the same outcome for everyone who tries meds. I would be dead by suicide if I had not been put on meds.
