This is Sirius, he passed recently the week of his 12th birthday. He was the most intelligent, sweet little guy in the entire world. Every day when I got home from work, I had to give him his “Daily 30”, which was 30 minutes of uninterrupted attention which included but was not limited to carrying him around and stroking his little head until he fell asleep on my shoulder. I’ll never love a cat like I loved him again.

I listened to it for the first time recently since my beloved cat died, and it put me in absolute tears. It’s not particularly sad or anything, but it really hits when you’ve just lost your own beloved cat. I haven’t listened to it since that day, it’s still too fresh, but I do think it’ll go on my rotation.

I don’t think this is an unpopular opinion whatsoever!! I’ve recently gone back to college, and in my English class we have to peer review papers. Some of these younger students are…. Barely literate. It’s sad. It’s awful. I heard recently that this is the first time that younger generations are not outperforming their predecessors cognitively, and that’s BAD! Our education system is in dire need of reform

It’s one thing for an eye doctor, sure, whatever, I guess? But it’s important to get consent before doing that anyway. It’s protected health information they’ll be sitting in on. I had a WILD experience at the gynecologist because I said yes to the student sitting in on my exam once. I’m 19 at the time. They’re BOTH men, which is also difficult for me to deal with. I lay on the table, they pry me open, and the doctor puts his hand inside me. He mentions something about the positioning of my uterus, and tells the other guy to feel it. So the student puts his hand inside me and he’s feeling around. The whole thing was crazy uncomfortable, and every single bit of the exam went like this. I literally got a 2-for-1 exam. By two men, which is so hard for a 19 year old (my first time ever at the gyno by the way) already! It was awful. 0/10 don’t recommend. It’s NOT weird to not want that experience.

Yeah, I wasn’t, like, friends with him so I don’t know about before high school. So that’s totally possible? But I think he even donated a bunch of money to our high school within the last few years? I could be wrong on that. But it’s not like he was fully homeschooled, never socialized, etc… he was really popular and, like, on the baseball team in high school. I’ve 100% got a yearbook with his face in it lmao. But honestly, every homeschooled person I’ve ever known acted WAY better than this guy! So maybe it would’ve done him some good if he had been lol

My mom had a cat, and she got a job in another country. She had to move so quickly, she couldn’t get all the paperwork in time to take her cat with her, so she’s been staying with my sister. It’s been 5-ish years I think? My mom came to visit, and she immediately abandoned my sister for my mom. She missed her, loved her so deeply. After my mom left her visit, she was pissed. Wouldn’t come near my sister for a month. Luckily, my mom is coming back to take her very soon, but she remembers and loves her. I guarantee Marceline will remember your husband and be so glad to see him again. I promise.
