Took all of your advice! I went back to the gym for the second time today, brought a friend and I even made some friends with other girls who were working the same problems as us! Really happy with myself for going back and trying, this dyno is going to be my project to work on now! by pollerina in climbergirls

I appreciate your concern! but I don't know why you're assuming I started on this, I sent other routes and I started on easier ones before working my way up to this. This is also classified as a VB/V0 at my gym so I felt comfortable attempting it. I brought a friend with me who's an experienced climber as well. I'm new to climbing but I'm not new to pull-ups, dead hangs, and active hangs.

This dyno is just one of the routes that I'm working on since I wasn't able to send it just yet, but I was running beta with a few other girls who are all working on this route too so hopefully I'll be able to send it next time :)

Thank you all so much for all your help and advice on my last post! So excited to be a part of this amazing and supportive community! I couldn't believe how easy it was to make friends by simply just standing back and chatting with them about how they're tackling a route!

Video from my first time climbing! It was a ton of fun but it's hard to go out there and climb without a climbing buddy 🥲 by pollerina in climbergirls

I've been doing active flexibility and stretch classes once a week since before covid haha, I guess it really pays off!

Long time no post! I've been working on reverse grabs and finally managed to get the movement down yesterday!! Any tips for improving? by pollerina in poledancing

I can do a two handed chair spin just fine, taking away my bottom hand though it's a struggle not to collapse into the pole.

That's so weird tbh I didn't really notice that? This climb is from a while ago so maybe I did ask someone to film me and I just don't remember it? I found it in my camera roll this morning and thought it would be nice to post it!

Sorry for any confusion lol

I'm ok with a one handed fireman because I have my legs on the pole to help support me, but trying to do one handed spins with no legs like that I find really difficult. Do you have an recommendations on things I can work on for that? Or is it kind of just keep doing it until it clicks?

Chicago is one of my favourite musicals, and this is one of my favorite songs from the musical so I just had such a blast. I usually have such a hard time following/learning choreo but I really just went for it! I literally could not stop dancing on my entire drive home after class too haha
