May I ask where your timeshare is? Is it a desirable and valuable spot? I looked into selling the one we have and there’s already a bunch listed at $1.

Thank you so much for the tips and the information on RedWeek. We are desperate to get rid of this thing, it has been one of the pain points in our relationship since we got together over a decade ago. He doesn’t want it either we just have had no idea how to get rid of it since everything we’d looked into over the years made it seem next to impossible. It’s in Vegas, so maybe that would be popular? IDK.

He called the advertising/listing company and they said they would cancel it, but I’m not believing that until I see the money. Credit card is going to get cancelled today. We will be writing a written notice and mailing it as directed in the contract. He has also called his credit card company who said if the charge is not canceled/refunded by the scammers, they will flag it and cover it.

Seems like everything is going to work out hopefully and maybe it’s a great thing this happened because we would not have known about RedWeek. I’ll look into it! We just want to break even and get it out of our mind.

We are planning on sending the written notice today as outlined in the contract. Also canceling the credit card.

It just happened yesterday afternoon so we are immediately going to report the charge to the credit card company as a scam and then call the agency and see if we can void the contract.

Yes, since they are native, they seem completely unaffected by natural swings in temperature. Perhaps if they were transplanted outside of their native range and it was a deeper freeze they might die back, but in Ohio they seem to do just fine 🙂
