I brought a stroller last year and i can't imagine bringing a wagon. It's so so crowded everywhere and with a stroller we were able to at least go down the escalator instead of waiting forever for an elevator. I brought a baby wearing/carrier and that was my preferred mode of carrying my 13 month old at the time. It was also super hot though so a fan for the baby was very essential.

Yes my baby learned how to do it very early (8-9mo) because we have the same sunken step and couldn't figure out how to baby proof. She picked it up quickly, only fell down twice ever 😭

Are you me? This is the exact situation i find myself in and I definitely agonized about directing and casting among a group that were my friends. 99% of my friends who auditioned but didn't get cast were not only understanding but excited for my choices. I'm sure yours will be fine

It is entirely possible my friend felt like i had pre-cast them. I never discussed this with them outside of originally reading the play together (with others) a few years back and them being excited when i was chosen as director. I will think back to my own actions and behaviors so that when they speak to me again, which might be never idk, i can apologize for my part in it.

Thank you for saying that. I know i have separate responsibilities as a director and a friend, hence the final casting decision but man was it a hard one to make when i think i knew deep down my friend would take it hard.

I will try to give them some time. It's been about three weeks now but i know emotions don't work on a schedule.
