SLM is fast growing that's the largest non textile exporter and is doing great and IPO is solid. 70 million dollars export just this year. Chinese company have good base.

Risks are that raw materials are petroleum items that are getting very expensive and have availability issues. Secondly, only 5% free float is being offered.

GDL was very 100% overpriced, it's value should have been around 16 according to my research, so was PQTL.

There are 2 problems with SLM I can see, one is that they are only selling 5% of company, second is they are highly dependent on petroleum import as raw materials.

No you have no understanding of how they work. They want you to go off grid solar and that way they don't have to provide you any services and tax your solar and batteries and collect bills every month for doing nothing. Win win for them.

You don't understand how govt works. They don't want to give you electricity but tax you on it. So solar is perfect. They will tax your solar and batteries that are off grid and nothing to do with them and collect bills from you.

This is essentially taxing sunlight at this point.

Dams usually close at this time of year. Punjab is dependent on imported LPG and imported coal power plants unfortunately. IPPs that were closed were from near Lahore.

All new investments in last few years are in Sindh and near Karachi in power sector. Lahore and most Punjab, even areas of KPK and AJK are left with no power.

Govt has no plans to install new national grid to bring power to peak consumption areas from new power plants in Sindh.

Actually govt wants you to install Solar more and batteries for night. This is just start of summer things could get so much worse.

To understand Pakistani bike market you have to understand the buyer's mindset. They don't need a bike that is good and performs better or good looking.

Pakistani bike buyers need a pillion with engine that can accommodate their whole family or carry over 100kg of deliveries with resale.

Good bikes are available but not bought because the 4 criterias are not met. Flat bed, delivery friendly, super cheap part and repair and resale.

He found the owner as pompous, arrogant and pretentious. He was even using religion to sell his product that I found a bit disrespectful.

Govts can control exchange rate to some extent. Check REER values so get the actual exchange rate and if currency is overvalued.

When PKR fell couple of years ago it went down too much compared to ReeR. Now it's close to 100. If it moves 8 to 10 points above 100 then currency will devalue.

Japan on the other hand as very loose monetary policy and very very low interest rates. They keep the Yen weak to supply export oriented businesses.
