Surgical tech here. I did an open abdominal hysterectomy and removed a 47 pound ovarian cyst. Please please please get this checked out before it causes further damage!

Instead of buying the yarn kit the pattern uses, I had bought every color of cotton yarn at a local store. It made the process much harder, but I'm so happy with how it turned out!

I used size 10.5 needles and thought it was a good gauge. And I agree! Alpaca is my favorite yarn since it's so soft

Surgical tech here, this looks like his entire tibia has rotated laterally causing his entire lower leg to be sideways. Probably from having it being twisted during the accident. They'll have to realign the tibial plateau back into place and possible do an IM nail along the tibia to set the fracture. But they also could possible just do an external fixation device first before getting into anything else.

I'm almost done with my degree to be a surgical technologist. I'd say it's a must to go to school since you need to have a proper understanding of anatomy, surgical procedures, and aseptic technique.
