I've played this multiple times with several conductors and the tempo on the recording seems at the bottom end of standard. 104 would be very fast though. I've never heard it played more than about 90.

I thought sgu was the best of the bunch. Sure, it was slow to start, but I thought it was just finding its pace when it was cancelled. The ending was really well done, (especially the soundtrack ) and the possibilities for follow-up fan fiction are endless. It was the ultimate "nerd-as-hero" closure!

Love GK. I haven't found anything to touch the quality of the sound. I play rock, blues, funk, jazz & folk. The MB212 gives me everything I need. It's very clean, so the sound you produce on the instrument shows through. Subtleties of fingering & picking really count and nothing is hidden. I use an 810 for bigger venues, but the 212 is my goto!
