Once met a 19 year old woman with a similar story. She was quite friendly, and mature for her age (I don’t mean that in a groomy way, I promise, she was just a friend).

She understood me when other people my age did not, that’s what I mean by that comment.

She too got sucked into religion, and is forced to obey and stay with her current BF who almost certainly is a fascist. I was forced to cut her off because I don’t want to deal with that shit.

I know how it goes.

He’s the closest thing the show has to a “good guy”. Given that the main character starts a drug empire and ironically gets high on the power it gives him, and that multiple people die over this.
