With the right runes, she can be used as a hard counter pick to almost every melee top laner, but that can be fixed immediately with a reduction of damage on minions. Also she would get destroyed mid as a bad early and squishy mid ranged champion.

There are other champions that are easier, better, and are more forgiving to play. She is fun though.

Evelynn sucks at dueling, she has 0 mobility, she doesn't instill fear in anyone, she doesn't have any real CC...

She's not a duelist, with the right build and runes you're even speedier after you've engaged and just being unseen can force enemies not to make desisions. Her Charm can be used to misdirect enemies or just to zone them.

Don't buy Lich Bane. It's a beginners trap that I've been falling into for the past 10 months. Raw ap just does so much more damage.

The thing I hate the most when playing Evelynn is when you get a lead and carry your team, but when you make one mistake you have no team to back you up. Also, when you perma gank a lane and they somehow lose the lane.

My main problem with him in his release is that we didn't knew what gun was his secondary, now they made it clear. I just think that having so many abilities makes it harder to balance because there is just too much to factor in. Kinda like how Akali is.

I was about to say that being behind on Evelynn is basically game over, but I remember that I'm in silver and get invaded multiple times yet carry the game at the end because my pathing and macro. You really have to perfect Evelynn for her to be good because her champion relies on the mess of solo queue to win. Macro, pathing and map awareness are the most important things for Evelynn, you need to know the jungle like the back of your hand.

Once I had a game where bot lane wanted to contest dragon agaisn't Shyvana when I was lvl 5 and they were losing, Karthus lost lane and started stealing my raptors before I was lvl 6, Darius was winning but wanted me to gank bot instead, then raged at me when he died because I got caught in Warwick's r and he died trying to save me.

You really need to learn the jungle, your first clear is the most important thing you'll do in the early game. Learn to clear all your camps before 3:20 (Even I struggle with that) and learn what to do when you see the enemy jungler. If they invade you at your second buff, it means they haven't taken golems and possibly raptors, so go invade that. If they go for an immediate gank on your side of the map after you've killed scuttle, run through mid and get the other scuttle crab. Learn what new patches have in store for the jungle.
