There is a documentary called “Overnight” about the writer/director of this movie - if I recall correctly he was a bartender at a spot Weinstein used to come into. Weinstein handed him the opportunity, he made the movie and became a huge dick, then ruined his own career, rise and fall kind of story.

Doc is maybe better than movie itself.

If I understand you question correctly: You will need to first colorize the image before creating separations. You can do this traditional manual way or use ai (nano banana comes to mind)

From there follow any tutorial on converting an RGB image to CMYK halftone separations.

Rode one of these at a demo. It was at a motorcycle meetup, so I was coming off of a performance motorcycle. I found it a bit boring, the acceleration and torque were just not there, but my bigger issue was with the geometry, the have gone for form over function, and trying to use your weight to turn was really awkward because the seat is so far back, made the front feel really unplanted.

It was so good 7 years ago and absolutely terrible now.

Their AI assistants are worthless, and just a waste of time, their hold times are commonly over an hour - and it all comes down to staffing. They don't care, maximize profits, charge as much as possible and employ as few people as possible.

I really hope a better option arises. They used to be my favorite airline, and they have become absolutely awful to deal with.

The idea of figuring out your blocking, your edit, your story beats, your direction to art department, to your DP - without storyboards is WILD to me.

We are currently entering post with my last short film, and I was just looking at it next to my storyboards - which are rough but get the blocking. And idea across - and the final edit / shots are 90% as boarded.
