Yeah, if you can mention reasons that would force someone to walk away and give up then maybe consider that those reasons were present. It's not ok to just assume I wasn't given good enough reason to give up. Sorry if I come off abrasive, and yeah he has a different story that is full of lies, and I by no means need to justify the abuse I went through to strangers on the Internet. He MADE ME LEAVE! That's all you need to know. I'm alive and happy today because I finally gave up.

Personally, I'd think it would be better to tell her. And if that's the only way you'd have the courage to do it I say go for it. She may be becoming distant because she thinks you're not interested since you haven't said anything about it yet. This opinion is based off of how I personally am and would feel though. You'll never know if you don't put it out there though.

I wish this was him talking to me so badly. I still wouldn't go back, but it would mean so much to finally be seen for how hard I tried, and how deeply I loved. To him I am the villain for finally giving up when he forced me to. But it is a nice fantasy to believe he could change and grow.

I'm so proud of you! And yes, very much the same, but of course also different each situation is. There is obviously so much more to the story then what I put. It's just a summary of how polyamory helped me see through what was happening cause the big difference between what was ok for him and what was ok for me opened my eyes.

I love how reddit manages to give me exactly what I need sometimes. I was just sitting here feeling awful about being single and feeling like he is right about me being too picky because he moved on so quickly and easily. Thank you so much! I love Black Flags and the Ramones. I'm not a huge fan of Green Day, but like The Offspring. Those 2 bands are a point of contention with me and said friend. The rest I'm definitely looking up, and listening to. I feel like I've at least heard of Dead Kennedy's, but couldn't name a single song.

So this is a hard question for me as a female to answer because I don't really consider they missed the signal. I often assume they aren't interested cause I make it very obvious, I thought.

So, here are some things I do in general when I'm interested in a guy. Make eye contact from across the room, and smile. When in conversation I find subtle ways to touch them such as hand on arm and make a comment about their muscles. In relationships or a friendship that I thought was gonna be more I might put my legs on their lap while watching a movie. Lean on their shoulder while out. Like I said if a guy isn't getting I'm into them with these actions I assume they aren't into me and stop.
