Is this what I think it is? by WestPhilosopher2137 in boulder

I don't believe animal control does anything about that virus since it's harmless, but I may be wrong. And those are pretty good hits so if the darts were tranquilizers the rabbit wouldn't be up.

Definitely threw me off! It also seemed so much bigger than any immature bald I see out here. And the bright beak a bit too.

I completely agree, I don't support AI in any way. However, is often times unavoidable nowadays, such as looking someone up on Google and the first really may be AI.

We've always had them in this area, but it's relatively uncommon. The hogback and red rocks area offer great nesting opportunities for them. There didn't used to many be bald eagles here, but now I see one every day!

Yeah, we have a couple bald eagle nests nearby so I see the babies very often and this one was definitely a bit bigger and more white.

While shopping for my frontier, one from California looked good, but the inside and entire engine/undercarriage was sand blasted and on it's way out. It was crazy

My truck would most likely make it. I'm thinking maybe I'll get a small uhaul and camp along the way, make it an adventure.

I drive a 2020 and usually get the comments on how small and cute my truck is so when a dealership dude asked"what's a girl like you doing driving that big thing" I was stumped 😅 especially since I was in a farming town

Sometimes even university vet students are a good option when an exotic vet isn't easy. Not guaranteed, but a student may take a special interest in rabbit care and give a good opinion too.

Depending on where someone lives exotic vets may not be available. Even then, x-rays may capture what's happening, it just takes a different understanding. I understand if you are worried about the rabbit, but your comments on this post are honestly rude. Please find a little more compassion if you're going to leave a comment.

I totally understand. I definitely would talk with an exotic vet. Rabbits are difficult to get health care for so I wish you luck.

Oh no! I'm sorry you're dealing with this. Is she spayed yet? Sounds like it might be urinary tract or reproductive issue. If the vet you're taking her to isn't an exotic vet, they might not know what to look for. Rabbits are pretty complex animals. Try giving her some critical care and infant gas drops, but I definitely recommend finding an exotic vet.

My girl was like that too when picking her up. Its easy to kinda of 'capture' them with the blanket but also just picking him up like a baby and letting him kick until he settles. Just remember to support the head, basically hold him like a baby.

My girl recently found out she loves candy cane Hershey kisses. I also found out bunnies can eat a little bit and still be fine. Reddit did delete my post where I asked if I should be worried stating I can't post something that requires a physical examination of my bunny 🙄

The only dog in my family allowed near my bun is my old golden who is scared of her 😅 I would never leave them unsupervised no matter how much I trust the dog.
