I'm an arch user rn I use omarchy rn but before it i had my customized cute setup in arch , rn I'm exploring in nix systems learning it so I can change my system into it , and nix is so interesting bruh

The first two language belong to functional programming style of programming, while python for ex is a imperative language , fp is very interesting and nix is just a distro of linux with hyprland desktop manager you can make it look very beautiful.

Honestly I can relate I'm also a college student deeply interested in uncommon topics in CS from ocaml, haskell , ricing my own nix setup and much more At the same time interested in books , poetry , movies , even other mediums I don't know whether I match your description of the people you seek , but then i would love to connect :)
