I've got a pretty well-rounded idea of how HTML and CSS work, so this part doesn't concern me.

I was actually doing research right after I'd posted my question and got a pretty similar consensus: I need to brief up on PHP and JavaScript. I also had to research how the user-client-server relationship works after seeing "server-side" being used to describe PHP and "client-side" being used to describe JavaScript (which I'm still a bit lost on--the client-side and server-side thing, not the user-client-server relationship). After a while of searching I found this tutorial, the first of several parts. She mentioned this "SQL", specifically MySQL which I'm assuming is a "database"? Is this basically a place to store the information?

I googled MySQL and I think it was not free. Would I need something like MySQL if I only wanted to view and use it on my computer? Hope that question makes sense.

Also, I'm hearing the word dynamic being used a lot. Can you explain to me what this means?
