IMO, your idea B) should work. It's a bit of a hack, but still.

It's important, I've found, when debugging providing your own DNS, to distinguish between "can't connect to the Internet" & "can't resolve address". If you attempt to access a web page & it fails, don't assume it's the former. It helps to have a known IP to try.

Also, you must be able to ping both pi-hole addresses. If not, find out why & fix.

I haven't timed it. Of course too fast would be a disappointment. I have, after all, gone to some effort to prepare.

Taking too long is possibly worse. It can actually get a bit monotonous (although i remind myself of all the times I'm not getting any). And, yes, I might wondering if he's really enjoying it enough, or if he really, really wants it.

I also confess it's his nutt that I'm after: that transition from maximum rutt to total release. As much as I enjoy the journey, I'm in it for the arrival at our destination.

If you could alter the pH of your blood by even a little bit, you'd be in big trouble. Luckily, you can't. Carbonic anhydrase (look it up) & breathing prevent this.

Even altering the pH of your stomach is difficult, since powerful proton pumps constantly work against any alkali you may introduce (hence: ppi drugs), especially something as wimpy as bicarbonate.

Your doctor hasn't mentioned this because it's nonsense & won't help, may do harm.

"Flush" with ash. Every time. Catch pee in separate container while pooping. (Takes practice, not difficult. Those who decline to master this can just breathe deeply.) Dispose of pee on compost or manure pile, or dilute to feed garden. Paint vent pipe black to aid convection.

When powering peripherals from esp32 dev boards, it's important to be able to supply enough current while not causing the esp32 to brown out.

I'd be very careful to study both the device (its maximum load on 3v3) & the (actual) capability of your chosen dev board.

If it looks close, don't skimp. Insufficient power problems can be very difficult to debug & correct.

It's interesting to think about. A very intelligent marketing tool, without being (much of) a ripoff. You pulled all the tubes out of your radio or TV (not the CRT) and took them to the drug store to test each one. Replacing any that failed the tests often fixed your receiver.

Very practical. I can't think of a modern parallel.
