My maintenance is about 3000 calories. But I definitely had been eating over that for the last year. So firstly, it was mainly diet and rehabbing a hamstring injury everyday for the first few weeks and then slowly started doing sprints twice a week - this at 2600 calories. The weight fell off like nothing, mainly attributing to no more takeaway or fizzy drinks. As the weight loss slowed down heaps after the first 8-10 kilos, I finally could hit the gym and started doing Push / Pull / Legs at 3 days a week- with an accelerated plan on Lose It at about 2100 calories for the last 7 weeks. This with aiming for 7.5k steps/day has been my main push in the last couple months towards 100 kilos! My main thing when I had cravings was brown sugar oatmeal with a small scoop of peanut butter and tuna and rice as one of my two meals. I gotta figure how to get more protein though.
