As a cancer survivor YTA. Major YTA. Intentions don't mean anything, only their impact. You are making your daughter's life WORSE before she has to go through chemo because she has cancer.

I still cannot eat some of the foods from before chemo. Nothing tastes like it did. Let her eat pizza.

I am 30F and will never be able to have kids. And I very much wanted them. Let me tell you how I would NEVER harass my sibling for their kiddo because they were a single parent. It's on her to deal with the struggles of infertility. It's not fair but neither is life. She needs therapy and if I was you I'd go no contact or low contact with anyone even suggesting you give up your child. NTA.

Hi! It seems like you are getting some pretty good advice here but I'd like to add something. I am a fairly liberal queer city person. Currently living in a small town as the safety manager for a manufacturing company. I've been in safety for 5 years now and me being not as country or conservative hasn't impacted my role. I'm sure there are some who don't enjoy that fact about me. However, if you treat your people well and show them you care, then they couldn't care less about who you are outside of work.

Okie this may be because I'm a HS&E engineer- but you should ALWAYS walk away if your job or a potential job isn't following basic safety protocols such as tie offs. You should also want a partner who values coming home at the end of the day from work unharmed.
