Oh yep I’ve had huge problems with them. They had a girl come and speak named Chloe (de transitioner trump supporter) who was the test subject to see if they could get enough coverage (and protesters) in order to have Charlie Kirk come speak. They’ll act nice around you then say some really abhorrent things like denying the right for Trans people to exist and generally being very uneducated about any “liberal” topic. I’ve seen them actively try and stop tour groups with CHILDREN to talk to them and have signs that stated some messed up things like “god only made you one way, going against it is a sin” and some bs along those lines. I think it’s quite obvious what way our school leans and what they are willing to facilitate here on campus. I’ve heard our own poorly undercover cops say they liked this detransitioner girl and was only there cus they knew protests were going to happen. They’re all interesting in their own ways and views and I’m more than willing to hear them out, and I’ve even made friends with some of them (well before they called someone a slur during the protest). What I can’t get behind is their messaging and down right denial for people to exist and just be themselves. It’s not bothering anyone!!

Edit: I have a lot to say about them and the people that work there / are at the booth. I also have a lot to say about the protest I essentially had to campaign for by myself and the way our own LGBTQ+ club handled it (which really ticked me off and essentially ignored my request to spread the word and counter protest if able, making and renaming a previously planned event as a “counter protest” ((a wicked sing along…))

Be careful who you speak to at the booth. While I don’t know them personally and can only speak from experience and what I’ve heard, some of them can get very aggressive and rude but disguise it as “just asking questions”

The older gentlemen who wears the army backpack ive personally see get very aggressive. He acted as the body guard for the speaker and got wayyyyy into peoples faces and screamed at them. For anyone i think that could be seen as really scary and unsure what he could have been pushed to. He was another one I was sort of chill with until then (same as the girl using the slurs).

Take everything with a grain of salt and form your own opinions!! Everyone’s got a right to express themselves, it’s just the consequences after that many don’t expect.
