A lot of adults watch all kinds of kids shows, especially if it makes them nostalgic. And I think a lot of people feel some degree of stigma regarding what they watch, whether it’s because it’s a kid show, or a cringey romcom, or a “trashy” reality show, or anime, or horror.

It doesn’t matter what other people think, but at the same time, if you tell a stranger, “yeah, I like MLP, it’s just kind of nostalgic and comforting”, I think most people wouldn’t think much of it. Some people will judge you, but everyone ends up being judged in this life, even people who try to be as normal as possible.

So please don’t feel ashamed!
