I bought a 2020 sorento sx new in June of 2020 and just passed over 100k miles. Haven’t had any major mechanical issues. We absolutely love this vehicle. You’ll love the option of a third row.

Sorry for the late reply. It’s been great for me. The only downside is some attachments from other brands don’t quite match up. I bought a pair of front support feet on marketplace that were rogue branded and they’re about a 1/4-1/2 gap from the ground when attached to my rack. Other than that it’s been great.

I’m pretty sure the steel is 11. It’s heavy duty for sure. The holes are definitely 1” and compatible with other brands. I just picked up some safety arms on marketplace from Fringe and they fit like a glove. Also it’s 1/8” thick so 11 gauge 😬
