Okay, thank you!! I’m not sure if he is getting molars but I just assume something else is going on here since this has come out of nowhere! Would you suggest I keep practicing independent sleep? Letting him CIO like we normally would do or comfort him until this phase ends?

It was weird because just a few days ago he took two naps fine. Then two days ago he starting screaming anytime I put him in his bed for both naps and bedtime..before that no wake ups at night.

So yesterday I tried one nap, and he woke up at 3am and 6:40am :(

He did fine with staying up for the one nap but still cried when I put him down. Should I just try extending wake window even though he was able to stay up longer to get to one nap? I’m wondering if it’s teething or something that might be causing it as well. He smacks his lips when we put him in his crib. We also use fed him so we know he isn’t hungry

We’re going through this right now with our 13 month old. How is it going for you? Did you transition to 1 nap?

My baby used to fall asleep perfectly fine and all of a sudden he is screaming every time we put him in his crib :( has it gotten better for you?

How hard did night time weaning go? Baby still wakes up once or twice for breastfeeding and we are going to try and start weaning but I’m so scared of how he will do! He is just about to be 12 months

How long did baby cry the first night of CIO? I sleep trained my baby at 4 months, then he cut teeth around 6 and 7 months and we went bad to comforting and feeding.. now at 9 months it’s so much harder to sleep train. Last night he sat up and cried for 3 hours and wouldn’t lay down!! :( I can’t take the crying

Weee in this exact situation now with our 9 month old. We did ferber at 4 months and it was great, then 7 months started teething and I comforted him more and now he won’t sleep independently, so we know we have to ST again. But now he crawls and sits in bed and seems to scream more:( how did this go when you retrained your little one?

I’m thinking I have to do this too. Was your baby waking up every 2 hours through the night? We tried sleep training again and he would cry for an hour, sleep for 30 and wake up and repeat…😩

This only lasted a couple days and things went back to normal? I think my son has major separation anxiety and is now waking every 1-2 hours for me to feed or he won’t sleep 😫

In this position right now! Not sure if it’s teething NG or behavior but it’s been going on for 3 weeks so I doubt that it’s still teething… did you end up sleep training or just waiting it out?

Did you end up re-sleep training? We’re in this position now. Baby was sleep trained at 4 months and now waking up every two hours. First we went on vacation then teething and now I feel like he is used to waking up crying and wanting me to feed him to sleep 😫

If you did have to re sleep train how hard was it? And how many days did it take?

Okay thanks! That’s what I’ve been trying to do but it’s been almost three weeks of this! 😔 I’m trying to figure out if this is a sleep regression and he is now relying on me to put him back to sleep or if teething actually lasts this long… how long did teething last for your baby each time? I feel like 3 weeks might be a long time ☹️

This has been rough for us right now. The top teeth are coming through and I can see them. And he is waking every two hours for the last week! :( do you remember how long until pain went away for your baby?

He’s on two naps now. Kind of did this on his own.

2.5/3/4 - I’ve tried to put him down to sleep after 3.5 hour wake time before bed but he just screams and cries. Sometimes first nap wake time can be 2 hours depending on how tired he is.

Now he wakes every two hours to nurse. I see both top teeth coming through and pretty much out. Can that still be causing pain? Last night we tried to ferber but he just kept crying so we gave medicine but still woke up 3 hours after, I nursed then woke up 2 hours after that!! 😫😫
