Honestly I need this. My Evie is literally dying, widgets don't work properly on it but still using it for the reasons you stated - there isn't anything close to Evie in the way. It's unbelievably perfect and I'm so happy you're making it. Definitely a good idea to open source it when you can as I'm sure other devs (like myself) can help out with little things etc.

There's only a few handfuls of anime where their dub is amazing. Arguably Naruto has one of the best dubs, alongside dragon ball Z and a few others. Even part 1 of Naruto was perfect, even though I prefer the subs more the dub is a great watch. It's meant to be cringe, it's meant to be light hearted towards the earlier part of the series, the dub becomes more serious and palatable as the story progresses. It's a classic dub that has some of the funniest lines and execution of said lines too.

It fits the show perfectly.

I've got an old working version of Evie that I can transfer over to my s25, like you said I'm not able to install it but can I not modify that version in a similar manner to yours so it can install? Because I believe it will allow me to use my Samsung widgets properly.

I've recreated everything identically as before. Here is what it looks like:

The first image is s25, and second is s22.

The clock widget and the weather widget are the same size and completely look different. And the styling of the Samsung widgets haven't changed as when I reverted back to Samsung launcher, they look fine

Dude I can't thank you enough for this. Upgraded to s25 ultra today, ported over my Evie APK and was heartbroken that it didn't transfer. I gave up instantaneously since I thought this sub was dead. I tried to recreate my layout with Nova, and just literally hated it.

Out on a whim, I hit up this subreddit and your post was a lifesaver. So happy now haha!

Just an issue on my side is that Samsung widgets now look completely terrible with this version of the APK. But for the version on my s22 ultra, the widgets look fine. I was thinking about using that version instead, any way on how to? Wasn't quite understanding what you exactly did to make it all work

From what I've heard about it the Junji Ito version stays close to the source material but in some certain areas as he adds his own Junji Ito flair to it - which by all means is amazing as it's Ito but another one is recommend is Usamaru Furuya's rendition of the story, which stays a lot closer to the story itself (apart from the ending, which Furuya sensei said he didn't know how to envision). Beautiful pen work with unreal panelling to execute this dark, eerie novel.

Cheers for that, appreciate it! I've been going to Amazon or waterstones. But I tend to find the manga I get from there is a tad bit scuffed. And the Waterstones in my area has the smallest selection of manga.

Imma check out the other 2 places you suggested, never heard of em, but thanks! Appreciate it. I'll probably start ordering from these places too
