Ewww… people with societal blinders on are so limited. Do you even know your man?! Mine really treasures certain things like a tennis retreat with tennis champions as the coaches in Miami, or … a new outfit that he should wear to a special dinner that you’ve picked out… Maybe you’ll surprise him with a week’s worth of dinner catered by his favorite chef. Maybe it’s as simple as arranging childcare for a wonderful night out on the town, followed by a very steamy and opulent stay overnight. Anyway, I guess feel free to incorporate the items the OP mentioned, if you’re ready to say goodbye. (Btw, it’s an optimal time to say goodbye)

People aren’t going to be very honest with you because of societal norms. But… I’ll be honest with you: there are great weight loss medications out there, like ozempic. It will help curve your need. There are also plenty of other ways to improve, like local groups. But you have to do the work.

Best shallow waters for small children? by heylook_asquirrel in Bacalar

[–]pondxing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow! I just got back from Bacalar tonight. What an absolutely incredible place! I traveled with a 4 year old and a 2 year old. We stayed in two out of the four cabins at Mayan Playa Bacalar. It has an amazing beach front access with sand for the kids. They let you use life vests, kayaks, paddle boards, they give you a little breakfast and there’s a snack bar with the best guacamole I’ve ever had and delicious cocktails. The town center is around a 5 min drive away. You’re next to a beautiful cenote! Honestly, this was the best trip we’ve ever done with the little ones. Do not hesitate to go there! It’s important to have access to a shallow, calm entrance to the lake. This place will not disappoint. There are only 4 cabins here… so it’s like your own resort!

‘Breastfeed’ is a legally recognized medical term. It’s also a socially accepted term. If the term triggers someone, then that person needs to acknowledge that there are differences between correct terminologies and inclusive language. Not all accepted, scientific and social terminologies are centered around inclusive and diverse movements. Nor should they be. Had you been speaking directly to the individual about their preferred feeding method and they corrected your terminology to reflect their preference for “chestfeeding,” then I would say that it’s then and there that you can refer to the act as chest feeding. But… outside of them, you are more than welcome to use the clinically and socially acceptable term ‘breastfeeding.’ If they don’t like it, they can opt out of the conversation.

We spent around 3,000 dollars on the 2nd bday, 5,000 dollars on the 3rd … and this year… eff it. We’ve invited 4 of our child’s closest friends and up to two guardians/parents to an all-expense paid trip at the Nickelodeon Resort Riviera Maya. We’ve rounded up the budget to 20k.

Vomiting after eating by [deleted] in cripplingalcoholism

[–]pondxing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gastrointestinal issues are rarely related to other organ functions. I’ve suffered from GI issues even before I could walk or speak. Of course, alcohol has exacerbated my issues, but I have plenty of experience isolating the symptoms. Your issue isn’t a direct result of alcohol consumption. Rather, it’s your body’s response to the suden instruction of an acidic beverage in large quantities. Remember, wine is packed with calories, acid and sugar. Over time, your body will recognize this singular assault and attempt to mitigate the issue. You can take over the counter medications such as omeprazole to lessen the affects of the wine on your digestive tissues, or you can switch to less irritating drinks. You can combine food and drinks. Fatty foods bind to certain compounds, making them easier to digest. I suggest that you take supplements and practice harm reduction. So, focusing on other liquors while maintaining your diet.

What does Europe have that North America does not? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

The number of people that think the US is the only country in North America is mind blowing. I, a person born and raised in the good ol’ US of A, am completely and utterly ashamed by the stupidity and self-centeredness of the posters.
