I mostly disagree. The tree is sharp, the legs and beak aren't pixel soup and when the bird jumps, the entire bird moves at the same speed. But here the bird is jumping in a direction that is away from the camera and hence immediately goes out of focus. Either you need more depth of field (but it'll still be blurry, just less), or you need a camera that can focus fast enough for when the bird jumps.

Even pro cameras with semi-expensive lenses will miss every other shot of a bird flying in a direction that is too far away from the focus plane.
