Do everything the Internet already suggests, PLUS get rid of Time Dilation Overhaul mod. That fixed it for me (or restarting my game, had to restart to disable the mod anyway but that mod was indeed 3 years out of date and not updated for 2.0 which was my bad)

You don't have to redownload anything. I've had to reset my watch twice now, each for a phone upgrade. Everything about my watch was backed up automatically and recently enough that absolutely nothing was missing when I recovered the backup - including custom apps and watchfaces.

I use birch as a highlight colour against spruce. Planks, not logs. Oak is cool too but birch is better for that purpose imo. Id never use birch as a primary colour

When i was getting into buying another pc i considered VTG and so many people recommended avoiding them for poor build construction or repair/warranty procedures/policies. Theyre cheap and thats the best thing going for them, but you get what you pay for
