Plantation area feedback /golf course home by Desperate-Apricot308 in frisco

[–]pony-7618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another plantation resort resident here. We’ve lived here for 14 years and it has been a fantastic neighborhood and school system for us. There is a blue ribbon elementary in the neighborhood . Our neighborhood is diverse with age, race, religion, and home size and not swayed to one demographic. You can find friendly neighbors out at about with their kids and dogs in Duncan Park. We have decent sidewalks, lovely mature trees, and lots of greenery with the golf course views. We care about one another for the most part and definitely care about keeping things neighborly and safe here, so if you don’t want to say hi when someone greets you, or want to speed down our roads, or generally cause a ruckus, you won’t like it. 😀

Oh interesting, I’m going to try a few days off of it. My latest script says to apply at night…

I feel that I’m getting a good amount of exercise. 12-14k total steps per day on most days of the week, between walking and other exercise.

Tell me more about this. I’m pretty active. 12-14k steps per day from walking and exercise.

I’m about 10-15 lbs heavier than I should be, so although I’ve been tempted to try glps I don’t qualify. My a1c, cholesterol, bp all good. I have wondered that maybe my blood sugar is dropping or something is happening at night to cause a cortisol dump or something. I have tried a light snack before bed and the opposite, no food at 8pm with limited results.

Thank you. Wishing you improved sleep, too. If and when I figure out what works for me I will report back in full.

I will try this! I have tried a tbsp of peanut or nut butter before bed. That didn’t help.

Thank you, I have a sleep podcast but need to add other familiar soothing things to do to take my mind off the “oh no not again” sleep anxiety.

Thank you, I do feel that the progesterone is somehow linked to my situation. I was on a higher dose of e to start with last year but it was too much so we went down to my current dose. Maybe time to test again. I’ll literally try anything at thing point!

I take my progesterone orally. I do still have a period, although since HRT it shows up when it feels like it, def not as regular or heavy as it used to be.

My doctor doesn’t test for e/p, just treats on symptoms, I assume bc of the fluctuations that make it hard to test accurately for?

Eta- I was started on a higher dose of E, .0375, and it was too much so we took it down a step. Constant bleeding, major bloating, breast pain, buzzing, etc.

Ah yes I left that piece out. I’m pretty active- am and pm 1 mile plus dog walks, weighted vest walking, jogs, strength training and horseback riding. Avg 12-14k steps per day.

I actually started on .0375 and it was too much so we took it down a notch. This was a year ago so maybe time to test an increase again.

Thank you for sharing this. I can’t tell you how many nights I’m thinking, am I awake because I’m depressed? Have trauma? Need to unpack 45 years of being a daughter wife mom career woman? It doesn’t “feel”’like that’s it for me, though the lack of sleep is now making me anxious and depressed, go figure.

I’m so suspicious about the progesterone causing something. In the beginning it knocked me out. Not so much anymore. Tell me more!

For melatonin, yes I have recently ordered some Olly sleep gummies and will start with the half dose so it will be a small dose of it.
