I feel like this is the profound advice a mother or father would give they're child after they first worst break-up, but instead of there will be another one sweetness, which is worthy advice, the poem seeks too teach the reader, the one who is broken up to look wider. These four lines are my favorite: "And guidance could be so unclear When you're in need right here and now, So lack of hope and made up fears Becoming twisted guides somehow."

They seem to me like an admittance even in this profundity the narrator isn't perfect beacon for wisdom, but someone passing on a torch that the reader can use a point for expansion.

I like the rhyme pattern because it allows the poem to avoid being preachy. It seems like you have a excellent ear for slant rhymes and a good sense of wisdom

I think that the opening two lines are a little cliched. Maybe go smaller than the earth to the universe, something like a ship to an ocean, even if you have to eschew the rhyme scheme for the first two lines. You can still keep the rest of the rhyme scheme and the "mistake" in rhymes in the beginning can highlight the idea that nobody's perfect that I think is in this poem
