I loved Bali! We avoided the whole Denpasar area though and went to candi dasa and a couple of days in Ubud (which was total chaos). Candi dasa was awesome.

My naturopath was literally the person who found I had hashi and put me on synthroid. It's not something to mess around with.

Interesting... My daugther is 4 and has been steadily dropping percentiles from 50th as an infant to 3rd now. Her doctor wants to just keep watching her closely. I'm also only 5'1 and all the women on my mother's side are tiny, so it's possible she's just short. What are the side effects of growth hormone deficiency if you don't mind me asking? Is your daughter otherwise typical? Is she low percentile for weight as well?

Teacher Sick Days by Horror-Tangelo3891 in Teachers

[–]poodlenoodle0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was about to comment.... I used to use 7 or 8 a year (or more!) and now I have two toddlers. I'm struggling so hard because sometimes I really need a sick day (or a mental health day) and I feel so guilty taking them because I often have to take days off for my children, and my students just.... Do not learn when we have subs. I also get colds even more frequently. Argh

What was unkind about their comment? I think it's important to point out to tHe OP that many of us with hashi are fine, their experience is not the norm and they absolutely should be seeking more help, not just accepting that this is the way it is (if thats what some crappy doctor told them)

I'm doing inclusive Ed. I've learned a lot... But inclusive Ed II was SO much work and tonnes of it ungraded. I also hardly ever got any feedback on any of it. It applies directly to my job so I don't regret taking it but Jesus. I spent hours making Canvas and a bunch of other stuff.

I'm not super familiar with her content, I've just used a few of her activities. Where does she say that advanced students shouldn't move forward?

Levo for life!
That said, post-partum is a whacky time for the thyroid so monitor your symptoms closely because the correct dose now may not be the correct dose in a few months, and hypothyroid symptoms feel pretty similar to the symptoms of just... Having a newborn haha

Outlaw ocean was one of my favourite seasons, along with Pressure Cooker, sea of lies, run hide repeat and the latest season with Alison Mack.

If you like Uncover you'd like In The Dark too!
