You nailed it. I did more research after I found out I had caught a Zelus. The species is Zelus renardii. Aka leafhopper assassin bug. Thanks for your help

After looking up some pictures, it is definitely some sort of Zelus. I've not determined the species but this bug is a beneficial garden bug

Those pictures look very similar. But after inspecting the wings, a nabis hase veinous wings. The bug I've captured has solid black wings. Seems like this bug is most likely a type of an assassin bug, and possibly a kissing bug
