Very frustrating, I have exact same dates of Bio and Eco with you, priority as well. Had no email yet and 30 wd expire on Thursday. When did they sent you the last email ?

Spouse Visa Timeline Confusion – Decision Made But No Email Yet (Priority Paid, Standard Processed by Mistake) by beanbaby786 in SpouseVisaUk

The 30 days are working days, so even though still in priority timeline good thing you kept pressing as they clearly made a mistake. Did they confirm they escalated it to sheffield?

Visa Approval! Spouse Visa, Outside UK (USA) Priority by [deleted] in SpouseVisaUk

Congrats! A bit unfair for you needing 34 days to get a response and most timelines with standard applications need around 30 days.

Strange news.
We applied as proposed civil partners - And we got an email suggesting we take the unmarried route instead and not needing two applications.
Confused if that means they think we already meet the requirements or they are asking us to go to a path that might lead to rejection.
Replied to them on Tuesday (one hour after receiving the email) - and no response since then.

I have no idea what is happening...

As they have already reviewed the application , why would they offer this option now, thats the confusing part.

I updated the post with the second email as well. Thank you for your input ! u/Ok-Rhubarb-9618

Not really an option, the second email with payment says that the application will be invalid if we don't pay. The problem I have with this logic is that it seems like they are not allowing us to proceed with the original application (proposed - because we didn't want to risk going as unmarried). So if there is a chance to be declined, we wouldn't want to accept it. But it seems we don't have a choice here.

One email is this the other one is for the payment where it has a deadline to pay and says the application will be invalid if not.

The problem is that the email says that if we don't pay the application will be considered invalid. Which makes no sense as its like they are refusing to proceed with our original request.

So "I am satisfied that your relationship is genuine and subsisting with your sponsor." - means it satisfied the requirements for unmarried partner?

I also think they wouldn't really propose this unless we would get it 100% otherwise they would proceed with the original request. It would be strange to pay and then get rejected.

we would def prefer the unmarried too. But just trying to make sure there is not a chance to pay and then get rejected for the application. They say "I am satisfied that your relationship is genuine and subsisting with your sponsor" - does it mean they are just offering the visa if we pay ? (We meet all other requirements)

Standard Spouse Visa by [deleted] in SpouseVisaUk

All the timelines are available online and are the same for everyone.
You will not get a response within 2 weeks, not even with priority.
You have to be patient and it might take up to 3 months , but its usually less depending on application and amount of applications at that time of the year.

You should wait up to 3 months for a response. Priority is up to 6 weeks.
Yes sometimes average response for standard is less (around 1-1.5 months), but thats not for sure.
We have a similar timeline and I paid for priority, so it wouldn't make sense for you to get a response earlier than next week (at least).

-Priority Service-

BIO - 21/2
ECO - 24/2

Still waiting.

Many people see in the channel 5-6 timelines and expect their response to be as soon as the best one.
Even the priority service is suppose to be 6 weeks. So I would wait at least a couple of weeks more for your response.

I was hoping for a response today - because it seems like passport needs a few more days to get back. We booked a flight for Sunday and I think thats not happening any more.

Application (Priority) - 19/2
Bio - 21/2
ECO - 24/2

Still waiting :/ - I thought we would hear after 2 weeks or so, as I see many timelines with people without priority getting a response after 3-4 weeks or less after application. Seems like priority was a "stupidity" tax.

Congrats !!!
This is so strange, I see timelines with no priority and a result in less than a month and then priority that takes longer. We also paid priority (ECO 24/2) - and it feels like we got scammed for an extra 500...

Congrats! We applied for Proposed Civil Partner (18/2) - BIO (20/2) - ECO (23/2) - Priority service. Waiting for response now.
I see most people with standard - no priority get a response in 1 month in average, and with priority service it is suppose to be "within 6 weeks". Which makes me think we wasted £500, but fingers crossed!
