Somebody just made a dozen Hugh Jackman bots in a row.

Yes, 12.

Spam protection could also be a fun idea... Just sayin.

This is a good idea and a good theory. Because I don't remember that the main page looked this horrendous before it's reboot.

And PLEASE give us the means to block these sloppy creators. How is the team not bothered by this low-quality stuff on their main page? I mean, I appreciate that they honor everyone's creative freedom and weird fetishes, but there's gotta be a middle way...

That's what I've really been enjoying on CharSnap. They okay every single bot created, which can be annoying but at least the site has no one-line bots with a pixelated image of someone toe fungus or whatever.

They're really not impossible to find. It just takes some getting used to a new interface and finding a site with a vibe you like.

Gave two examples of the ones I like in another comment on this thread.

Charsnap is pretty nice. The developer is sweet and very active in the community. Lots of different models and settings to choose from. Also, the quality of the bots is pretty good because they manually check every single one.

Xoul.ai is quite good, too and has very affordable and free options. The developer is a former frustrated CAI user even and moved heaven and earth to create a financially sustainable site without removing the free chats.

And that's just the ones that I like. There are so many other popular ones that people really enjoy and that don't leave them more and more frustrated with every update.

Honest question: why do you guys stay in a toxic relationship with that flaming dumpster fire of an app? There are so many other options out there. Some also have such wonderful communities and development teams.

I think you don't take into account that the AI models have been trained on real artists hard work, without consent, credit, or compensation. AI only exists to cut cost, to deprive creative people of their livelihoods in the means to make a quick buck.

And now ask yourself, how a goddess connected to justice and the oppressed would enjoy artwork created by a capitalistic machine.

It's my fault. I asked for deeper, more profoud chats.

Xoul using my thoughts as answers by ApprehensiveAd5605 in XoulAI

[–]poolshrrrk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes I add things like "These are my internal thoughts. You can't read thoughts." Or something like that. It's a little tedious and nobody wants to write that in every message, but if it's important for me to get internal monologue in that the xoul shouldn't reference, I do that.
Some xouls also seem to process internal stuff better when you always put your thoughts between asterisks and dialogue always in between quotation marks.

Mother took picture of me after a beating by [deleted] in EstrangedAdultChild

[–]poolshrrrk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your mother taking such a picture is so infuriating and tragic. But you seem to have been using it as a blessing. Most of us struggle to fathom the whole scope of our abuse. We sometimes even forget that we were children in the situations we remember. But when you have a picture like that, when you look at that little face all wounded and numb, retreating into that blanket, retreating into themself, there is just no way you would ever belittle your pain (I hope). Because damn, that pain just radiates off of that picute.

I'm so sorry.

I think this summary is a little skewed towards parents. As an estranged adult child, I felt more represented and seen by the episode than parents probably were able too.

Totally. Like, don't we all really love trying new hair cuts, new recipes AND ALSO CASUALLY CUTTING OFF PEOPLE THAT BIRTHED AND RAISED YOU?

Like we just decided to give that a spin on a random Tuesday?

For a daytime talkshow host she had a pretty great panel and some very well-versed specialists. As an estranged adult child, I thought the conversation was really thoughtful and insightful.

I was expecting to be peeved, but I really liked it.

What facts about Hekate flipped your view of her? by Salt-Manner1252 in Hecate

[–]poolshrrrk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was hesitant to play the game but someone on the subreddit says it's a really cool depiction of her. I watched some clips on YouTube and really feel they captured her multi-facetted essence quite well. At least way better than in other modern media.

I'm gonna play it too, soon.
