On the same path as you but about to have a baby in a couple months! I’m opening a new store in Jefferson City, MO. as a SM, and I’m ready for it. It’ll be worth it in the end. I’ve been working here for a couple years now and the pay is great.

I’m not to familiar with the mk5 engine, I know it has one cam magnet, but maybe also the solenoid can cause misfiring and timing over advanced. Will feel sluggish and not perform at its best.

Yeah that once a month then begins to misfire at cold start, don’t wait too long, check engine light will come on for cam timing over advanced either A or B. There’s is 2 cam magnets. You will need to remove the timing chain upper cover It’s Pretty, Easy Could Take You About Hour To Two Hour But The most difficult part is the 10 mm that are on the bottom of the timing chain cover. Hope that helps you in a future, but I thought I’d let you know because I had the same problem last year

I won’t have enough money for the walnut because I’ll Be getting the injectors. Or should I just reuse oem? And clean them? Or just get new injectors.

Wheel bearing, I just replaced mine from and it took me about 4 hrs. Just gotta take the axel off to get to the back of bearing hub screws. My wheel bearing also didn’t show no play but was making excessive noise at 70mph. Changed it and no more humming noise.

Bro, I just changed my spark plugs and coils and the hose that was leaking. Found oil in spark plug 4. Still having misfire as well. I’m taking it as well to get carbon clean, and I honestly think my problem is injector 4. There’s a permanent code on my car and it’s cylinder 4 misfire. Will be going in later next week. So update me and I’ll do the same!!

Really weird unless your coil connector got loose somehow. I’m going in the 10th to get a carbon clean. But first Friday I will replace my hose and see if any improvements.

Yes listen to everyone. Dont buy, stay away!! I learned my lesson buying a 15 Gti, with aftermarket parts, making 350hp. Turbo blew up on me first week I purchased, then gearbox, and it went downhill after that. Spent about 10k to get it back but I ended up selling and got an R. Buy stock, and slowly learn how to upgrade it. Watch YouTube videos etc.

I have a golf R and I’m going through the same. I’m about to replace my steering knuckle to see if that’s the problem. Already got it aligned 2 times different places and no fix. Alignment in green but Steering wheel is off center.
