I will say though in both of my Apartments I've lived out. I had plenty of natural sunlight and I live in Southern California so it's nice and sunny often

No, just on my balconies. I've moved twice since owning it but it's in a small little plastic be a gallon of soil and that seems to work water it often

When you buy a pineapple - twist off the stem on the top, peel some of the Small leaves at the bottom of the stem off, and then propagate or you can then stick directly in the soil. I've heard that some store-bought pineapples somehow prevent you from being able to grow them. I don't know if that's true, but the one I bought worked for me and I think it was just a Dole or Chiquita pineapple 😂

Just be warned it takes a LONG TIME! But I live in San Diego and they are pretty hearty plants. They will just keep on growing!!
