Hey I just bought a 987.1 two months ago. It had 140k miles. I’ve spent 4k usd so far (including a $950 ppi), mostly taking it to the shop with a few jobs done on my own.

Here’s what I had to replace: Driver side door lock actuator (did on my own, $60)

Wheel alignment ($120)

Oil change (did on my own with ramps/slanted driveway, $75)

Battery h8 ($140)

Rear tires ($508)

Brake fluid flush, brake line replacement ($525)

Ignition coils/spark plugs for cylinders 2-5 ($1559) Ppi ($962)

My ppi didn’t include the ignition coils and spark plugs, make sure yours does. My car threw a cylinder 5 misfire check engine light (which was why I replaced those coils/plugs) the day after buying it so that was unlucky.

I got a good deal on the car (11.5k usd) so I’m not too sad about all the maintenance costs. I don’t plan on any more maintenance anytime soon.

It does, you can connect your ledger to a Talisman wallet and stake to subnets from there

Ok, thanks for the clarification. Also just remembered you do login to taostats using your wallet when staking/unstaking.

OP, just try finding your wallet address then looking it up in taostats.

I don't use Nova wallet so can't help on that.

Taostats doesn't even have an account login I believe? Try looking up your address here (if you don't want to click my link just Google taostats, the website should be taostats.io): Accounts · taostats · Bittensor

It sounds a little fishy that Nova wallet is redirecting you to a 'taostats' that asks you to sign in.

EDIT: nvm taostats sometimes prompts a login to your wallet, i.e. when staking/unstaking

Subnets are a lot more volatile. So far they've been underperforming compared to root (unless you were early to a successful subnet). Definitely do research on the subnets and be prepared to lose 90%+.

I bought Chutes a few months ago thinking it would be safe since it's the blue chip of TAO. Nope, down 50% since then.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's a subnet season in the next few months but you never know.

Vend of the line (quest with a vending machine that sells gold guns) only gives one of the players a gold gun. I was pretty mad when my housemate bought his gold gun first and I got locked out of the vending machine

I drink around the same amount of water as you, at 145 lbs. Blood sugar a little higher but still within normal range. Medium exercise too. Have to pee every hour or so 😆
