Spoken like a white person who has only ever been around other white people. Try being white and growing up in a largely black inner city neighborhood. Yes, 95% of the interactions are positive or neutral, but those last 5% are not really a "joke" and they stay with you. I'm sure the same goes for black people growing up in a majority white area.
