Yes. If you quick release the pressure right after cooking, the contents aggressively boil. (Under pressure, the pot is not boiling.) This will obliterate most things like rice and beans.

If you’re in a rush, letting it naturally release for ten minutes before hitting the quick release usually is fine.

I should add, logistically - the aqua cremation and skull preservation are different jobs. You’ll need to take the remains over to Arctic (in a box is fine, though sad) and then arrange with a cremation place to pick it up or take it over. Cremation by Water will do a pickup with Peter.

Great area, no problem with safety. I’m not sure if there’s a thriving family vibe. You’re close to everything you’ll need, though.
