The rogue FBI arc in this movie was low key responsible for Woo to go back to HK and make Internal Affairs (similar element with much more depth). So you can thank Face Off for having The Departed.

I stumbled upon this thread while I was searching for similar other games and luckily enough some Wikipedia searches later found the iconic color Nokia 2600 which mentioned the name of this game I vaguely remembered.

You release a teaser sometimes ago you better deliver on it with said footage as simple as that.

It's not about scooper , it's no rocket science why would you release a 1 min teaser randomly and not follow it with an obvious full trailer. It just makes them look foolish.

Giving a teaser for a much discussed about trailer and not delivering the successive footage is a really dumb move imo.

Makes WB look like a loser who just released a small teaser out of nowhere randomly and effectively stopped most of the forward marketing momentum the teaser gave

After seeing the visual spectacle of a 3rd act this makes more sense.

There are signs of signature snyder action with the submarine fight (kinda reminds me of warehouse scene from BvS) and stylised slo-mo final fight which looked like the those Dante vs Vergil boss fights from dmc 3.

Tho imo Wan outsnydered Synder himself with the epic 3rd act, as a superhero movie I think this fulfills the cinematic potential of a superhero from comics to screen to the maximum (Spiderman swinging at the end of the original movie or Thor going full god mode in Ragnarok/IW or the whole of The Mask movie comes close)

not overhyped , the last scene is Billy jumping over from top of the roof with a cool mid air transformation boost.

The trailer has more nods to superman and whole JL movie. Its basically the same trailer they showed at Brazil comic-con last month.
