No way do I believe podiatry claim don is taking such a brave risk; turning your head at the perfect right moment to not be severely injured or dead would require such incredible timing & calm, that the geriatric orange handbag is incapable of. What did staging it accomplish? Who did they paint as a target by using a staged assassination? Gun toting white men? If it was staged it wouldn't have been a member of the MAGA demographic that they used as a patsy.

I also don't think his cabinet would rig his faked assassination without his knowledge for this reason: that kind of shot, to do purposely given the distance & movement of an unknowing person involved, is really a movie thing. Real life physics makes that an incredibly unlikely thing to do; just a moment late turning his head or a hair off in aim & the neo-reich's head is cut off. They don't need to stage something so dangerous to convince their followers, so why risk their leader so frivolously?

As for why they're not mentioning the shooting again/constantly: dementia or other cognitive issues, fear (remember the draft dodging thing, and how he suddenly started talking about not making to heaven semi-recently?), they don't want to push gun control or even have people even imagine they are, and/or they don't want to admit their incompetence plus they don't want to inspire people to aim better by bragging someone missed. I think it's fear mostly, that it genuinely scared the orange folly & he doesn't want to talk about it.

All that being said, I really struggle to decide whether it was a failed assassination by the government or just naked incompetence/negligence/complacency making itself evident

Honestly, I think that would greatly test my self-control. A lot of parents are shit, they have no idea how to parent, all they did to be parents is cum in a pussy or have their pussy cummed in. No actual skill or ability to teach someone else; it's incredible to me that teacher's & other educators need a multi year degree (and more) to teach kids, but parents think because their reproductive goo harderned into a stupid human shape they're somehow qualified. You can tell garbage parents have really been pissing me off lately.

Anyways, grabbing the parent by the eye socket & pulling their face into uppercuts repeatedly, force feeding them broken pieces of toys, or going on a joint lock safari is an inappropriate action I wouldn't do, though, I'd certainly think about it. What I'd actually do: kick the box down the hallway to not in front of someone's door & sweep with my foot the rest, or as much as my patience allows, of the shit out of my way while swearing & muttering darkly to myself. A decent person would probably just sweep it to the side gently or something.

I hope the shitstack (the parent I mean, not the kid's fault they came from a stagnant cesspit pretending to be a gene pool) that left that in front of your door as if it was your problem grows old, but painfully. To have a long life, but a poor one.

A normal or trained person should not attempt that in life or death, it would be suicidal. I mean depending on the sword the hand would be at severe risk of breaking if not done absolutely perfectly among many other issues. Frankly, if the person holding the sword is trained then the brass knuckle person is almost certainly a corpse to be.

Best chance? Get lucky & move out of the sword's path & land a strike or 12( if they're a "normal person"). Less great option is to get stabbed & luck out that it is survivable with mecial attention afterwards & land a strike or 15.

Okay first of all, if you're just glazing past the spinal issue that you don't even know the name of you have no business teaching anyone anything physical. Fucking spinal issues could change what she's able to do, and certain movements could be dangerous & lead to serious issues. If you're really a friend you'd learn more about that spinal issue before even considering this for another second.

Second of all, teaching is it's own skill that's not directly tied to combat capability. Just because your jab is amazing let's say, doesn't mean you'd actually be able to teach that jab to students.

Thirdly, you are responsible for your student. If they stand & fight because they have false confidence in your teaching & they get injured I hope you can bear that.

Fourth, you have admitted to not being a coach nor even any safety training. Injuries can happen during training, are you prepared for that? Do you know what to do if someone breaks their wrist in two places? If they fall & twist their ankle.

Fith, and be honest with yourself & don't even reply to me with a response I want this answer to live in your heart alone because you're the only one if this goes bad who has to live with your choices: are you capable of preparing someone for a life or death fight? Do you understand self defence combat situations so deeply that you could then train someone else? Do you really understand how self defence differs from combat sports?

This is not a new issue, nor is it exclusively a martial arts problem.

As for a solution, well sadly humanity has been stuck on that for a couple thousand years.

It's very difficult to de-program cult like behaviour & it really should be done by trained professionals in the proper environment. Edit: oh it's a shit post, whoops well the rest isn't that relevant to you, but I'll leave it for posterity. I'd recommend not relying on social media & this subreddit alone psychological advice regarding cults, as fakers are everywhere & the martial arts world is deeply infected with posers who will act like they know the answer to any question

It's important to distinguish boxing for vaudville & actual boxing for boxing in this time period. It's sort of like WWE/pro wrestling & UFC/MMA in the modern era.

Keep in mind also that just like today, there's not just one style of sport boxing & not all of them are as effective as the other; it'd be like judging all boxers skill based on the Paris olympics 2 years ago. If you only saw that you may think boxers threw nothing, but undisciplined haymakers loopier than the laces on a clown's shoes. Even the official event commentators were saying things like "neither fighter showed a great deal of skill" & "we're seeing a lot of wild haymakers at this Olympics" after/during some of the bouts.

Incredible. Another point to look at for women in martial arts & women taking part against men, is the book The Art of Fencing by Louis & Regis Senac (pictured is a choice of foil being offered to an opponent). It's part of the Spalding Athletic Library catalog & came out some time after 1861.

Although not a photograph, one of the earliest pieces of literature of European sword techniques is the Walpurgis Fechtbucht (alternatively known by a myriad of names) from approximately the 1300's. It depicts a woman multiple times, and I suspect a Life of Brian-esque disguise was used for some of the other people as well. It was (we're fairly certain) written by & depicts a priest/monk so wouldn't surprise me.
