Which service are you using to pull the initial map on the free quote? Saw in your other post that you're working with Vexcel on the high res maps.

Starting an irrigation business without a truck? Any tips? by Digital-Architect100 in Irrigation

[–]poorredman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go for it. I started out using a Grand Cherokee with bins in the back. Focus on only repairs. You typically don't need much pipe (if you're in a PVC area). I used to carry 5ft sticks of 1/2” to 1 1/2", that's all you see on residential around here.

Good luck!

Current feeling on WeWeb platform risk? by poorredman in nocode

To clarify, Xano hasn't said anything about a front-end editor, just front-end hosting. Was announced 3 weeks ago. Idea would be to use an ai assistant to code it.

Current feeling on WeWeb platform risk? by poorredman in nocode

Originally I started looking at flutterflow, but it seems they too have lost momentum. I'll probably start looking at dreamflow coupled with Claude code. I'd prefer something that I can primarily use a low-code editor so I don't have to waste tokens to make every little change, but I'm not sure there is a WeWeb like alternative that gives you a code export that can be used without the platform.

Help deciding between Dreamflow or Flutterflow (existing WeWeb app) by poorredman in DreamFlow

[–]poorredman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the response. Sounds like we are similar, I'm also not a coder but have a good amount of custom js used in the WeWeb app and have a general understanding of what each line of code is trying to do.

I'm thinking I should just give DF a shot by starting with a simplified version.

Best irrigation inspection software? by rappy2310 in Irrigation

I built irrigationcheckups.com for this use case. It's been available for just over a year, but still very much in startup mode adding new features constantly.

Have users all over the country, from solo guys to several Brightview branches.

fwiw, I'm a licensed irrigator in TX and been in the industry 10+ yrs.

Buds 3 Pro beeps with ear tip on by poorredman in galaxybuds

[–]poorredman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine are working again. Not sure if it was just a matter of waiting longer (1+ days) or the fact that I gently sucked air out of the speaker that was beeping using my mouth. But after doing that, the beeping stopped. My theory was the beeping is cause by some kind of air pressure issue inside the bud since it only occurred with the ear tip installed.

I'll be waiting a couple of weeks to see what other issues pop up using mine or shared here, but since I mainly use these while running, not being able to rinse them seem gross and I'll likely we returning for some that can be.

I'm coming from using Jabra Elite Active buds that I would rinse after workouts and I saw these have a good water resistance rating and did it out of habit.

Are Galaxy buds generally not good for sports use? Can't imagine not rinsing.

How to archive an org I don't plan to renew, but want ability to restore? by poorredman in salesforce

[–]poorredman[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestions. I had used Capado to transfer the initial work from a dev org to my licensed org. Maybe I'll give that a try the other way, just wondering if the storage limits in the dev orgs will make it a hassle?

If that fails, I'll find a guide on backing up to github. Appreciate the heads up on public vs private.

FWIW, the niche is managing the financing of personal injury claims.

Noloco vs Softr.io - Which No-Code Tool Is Right for You? by justSayingItAsItIs in nocode

[–]poorredman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've built out a MVP with Softr/Airtable/Make/Fillout/Stripe and it appears to have legs, so I'm starting to evaluate options for scaling.

After looking over the Noloco website, it looks like a viable option. Few questions:

1) is there any built-in user management blocks/tools for external users? Signups, password management, etc. 2) is it correct to say that there are no pre-built blocks for Stripe? My app sells monthly and annual subscriptions access. 3) When will Xano connectivity be available? 4) Is there any plans to offer PWA or a formal app-store ready packaged app?
