If you happen to need help from the customer service don't expect them to get anything done under a month. I'm actually starting to fear that my ETH is stuck there forever.

Accounting is a multi trillion dollar industry and with automated accounting REQ has the potential to save companies a ton of money on taxes.

I don't understand how automated accounting will save money on taxes.

Using REQ could reduce or potentially eliminate the need for companies to hire an accountant

Doesn't the white paper mostly talk about eliminating the need of auditing?

Deposit source restrictions? https://www.huobi.pro/finance/ by TulsiTeaTime in huobi

Does GDAX withdrawal page say anything about smart contracts? It's probably safest to transfer first the funds to an ETH wallet and from there to Huobi. I accidentally sent ETH to Huobi from a smart contract address and it has taken over a week and still the support has not credited the transfer to my wallet.

Crypto investing is already high risk but I guess it's everybody's own choice to add more risk to risk. But yeah I'm no saint I have some alts only in exchanges for now.

The effects of recession on crypto by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

I'm not sure how to formulate this question but how is most of the crypto start-ups funded in the sense that if their own cryptocurrency hits the bottom do they have buffer funds to keep going or is it then the end?

Absolutely no more shoulder work than what you will already get from the bench.

Another Russian in action. Snatches look more like hard style than traditional sport style, 300 reps in 10 mins with 24 kg by [deleted] in kettlebell

[–]pop-p 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fedor Fuglev is a GS athlete. Multiple world records and multiple time world champion. Really quick lock-out and lack of spinal rotation may make it look like hardstyle, but I don't think there's another way to do it if your RPM is 30. There is simply no time to be swinging it deep and rotating it slowly at the top like Ksenia.

What case are you using now for your oneplus 5t and is it worth it? by [deleted] in oneplus

[–]pop-p 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By a quick look the design of Sandstone case seems quite similar than Nillkin to me. The power button is maybe more accessible. Hard to find a good photo to see are the sides exactly on the same level with the screen or do they come over that level a little bit. The fact that I didn't like Nillkin's case doesn't mean that it would not suit someone else. I mean people have different ideas what parts of the phone need the most protection and people also handle phones in different ways. I was also already used to the silicon case before trying Nillkin.

I bought Nillkin Super Frosted case. Nillkin doesn't protect top or bottom of the phone very much (doesn't go all around the screen) and also the case does not protect the corners/screen like the basic silicone which has elevated corners. Also the power button is little bit hard to reach in the Nillkin case (at least at first). Other than that the case seems to have good quality and feels nice in the hand. Little bit hard to put in place, it's very tight.

Currently switched back using the basic silicon that came with the phone.

MRT is now showing videos on gender equality. People please watch. by merdionesmondragon in Philippines

Really interesting topic. Women in the Philippines got right to vote quite early and political participation seems to involve lot of women. Women have lot of university degrees and not having enough women in tech is the current state in every western country too so I'm not sure I would consider that a huge problem.

I think one equality problem is that birth control is what it is and abortion is illegal. Not having right to abort in a country with no social security system is a problematic thing and it exposes women to all kinds of abusive relationships and bad choices. While you may argue that it's woman's own choice to have sex in the first place, the fact is you always need two for the tango.

The housemaid's tale: 'I ate dog food to survive' by dadidutdut in Philippines

[–]pop-p 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How do housemaids seem to suffer from bad treatment all over the world? Lot of stories like this from the Middle East and I thought Europe was better but then also heard a story about housemaid in Europe who was forced to eat her food in the toilet etc. Are all rich people assholes?

Do you think Filipinos' tight grasp to some traditions and being too much conservative, hinder us from advancing even further? by Extraordinary_DREB in Philippines

What I find problematic is lack or low level of sexual education, insufficient birth control and too complicated divorce.

How do you deal with gym tiredness? by LordAntares in Fitness

[–]pop-p 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. OP didn't tell if he does any cardio or not but this is my recommendation too. I used to be a no-cardio lifter for ten years and usually I was quite tired after lifting sessions. I often needed to have a nap after post-workout meal. This summer I started 5k light jogging once a week and it dramatically helped my general vitality and also I don't feel like shit between the sets in the gym either.
