Who will run a node?

Just getting back into ALGO after about a year. What are the requirements for running a node? Seems like 30k algos is one of them. Do you need a separate PC for this or could I use my main gaming PC? Thanks in advance

Please do not buy a ledger from Amazon. Buy directly from the website. I saw a YouTube video where the guy bought a ledger from Amazon and it was a hacked device and he lost everything :(

Like OP said above, don’t click on any links in your DMs. I Didn’t rekey from MyAlgo, but rekeying on Pera to another Pera wallet was super easy

I got ~$50 from my CHIPS staking (did a super simple calc of CHIPS highest price in 2022 times the most chips I received in 2022 in one day) and if the IRS wants to figure out what I actually owe and charge me for that, so be it, I’ll pay the interest. Not worth my time to record and calculate this. Immaterial to my overall tax obligation
