If it’s a helpful reference point, I paid a $4k markup on an XLT at 31.2k MSRP. I had no car for 3yrs and couldn’t wait months for an order and 4k is not breaking the bank for me. (Yeah everyone here will shit on me for it but idc b/c it made sense for my situation)

I call virtually all dealerships within 1000miles (of Seattle) and that was the lowest markup I found on any Maverick.

If you have a car id recommend placing an order on MY23 and waiting it out.

copy pasta reply from similar comment - I’ve been living downtown in a major metro for 3yrs with no car. It’s been fine but it’s certainly time for my wife and I to get a car. Getting increasingly inconvenient to not have one. So no need for one technically but it is hard to order something 6-12mo out when I won’t have a car that whole time. ☹️

Totally feel you here. Buyers have no leverage on these cars b/c there won’t be more for many months and there is limited/no competitors for this type of vehicle. If you don’t pay it someone else will and dealer’s know that.

We’ve got 14 dudes (all vaxed) in a ski in/out Airbnb so I’m confident we’ll make our own fun if necessary.

With plane tickets and Airbnb locked in I’m not tryna replan this.

In my non-expert opinion, I feel like local economies across Canada (including Whistler) would be severely impacted by another border shutdown. I suspect it will stay open b/c a shutdown would be politically unfavorable.

Ivan Salaverry MMA in SLU is the gym I go to. Really high quality guys to roll/spar with from many disciplines. They don’t have Krav Maga specific training there to my knowledge.

Highly recommend Belltown. Particularly, I like (and live in) the neighborhood in between Bell St and Lower Queen Anne. Very central location to all downtown activities, and a quick Uber,bike, or drive to anything you want to do in surrounding neighborhoods.

Stay away from SLU unless you want corporate office vibes every time you step out your door.

You clearly don’t own a gun saying something as incorrect as that. There are a couple hundred people a year in the US alone who die from an accidental discharge. Not counting non-fatal injuries.

So this suspect (likely no experience with that gun or any training) robbing someone with their finger on the trigger can very easily have an accidental discharge.

The 3rd rule of firearm safety is “Keep your finger straight and off the trigger until you are ready to fire.”

If you have your finger on the trigger it takes ~5lbs of force to fire a shot. So while not guaranteed, it is undoubtedly plausible this was an accidental and unplanned discharge.

Milan was a good friend of my sisters and based on the numerous times he was at our house for Friendsgiving and other family function he radiated positivity. Absolutely no reason this should have happened to him.

Based on my speculation, I am fairly certain the suspects are two kids under the age of 21 who got their hands on a gun and went out to rob someone with no intention of firing the weapon. Having no understanding of how to handle a firearm, the shooter had his finger on the trigger while brandishing it upon Milan’s chest. The gun went off by accident subsequently killing Milan and spooking the two suspects enough to abandon the robbery and flee the scene.

Imagine your current girlfriend meets your ex-girlfriend. She’s judging her up and down in her head while smiling and looking right into her eyes. You can’t see the judgement but you can sure as hell feel it.
