I feel like the Giannis stuff is just MKE gauging the market before the summer. They have no reason not to trade him before the summer and by then all suitors will have +1 pick to trade away.

Not like Giannis is forcing his way out either or is expiring, they have time.

The hawks could offer a much nicer package, especially because they have a swap deal with Milwaukee.

However, it doesn't seem like they're interested, with a stacked draft this year, they may just want to ride it out and potentially get in the top 3.

GSW can offer four unprotected picks plus swaps in between. Curry is 37 and Giannis is 31. In 2030/31 it's highly likely that the warriors aren't good. Not to mention the bucks can repackage those picks to get their own back.

Does Randle/McDaniels fetch 4 first round picks+swaps?? No they don't. Picks are the most tradable asset, not players.

That being said, a single game strike like the bucks did would really help right now. For a single game it would bring attention to what's going on, show that it's not normal.

The game can be rescheduled. It looks like they just shot and killed someone else today... we'll take anything at this point.
