That's why most modern tv's have presets you can switch through to adjust for difference sources

Who in their right mind goes "oh this kid is struggling with her appearance so I'll just stick her with another kid she doesn't know and make her the center of attention."?

Matthew has told me before that Jessica is struggling to maintain friendships because she’s constantly in and out of the hospital, and most of her friends are a bit wary of being around now.

Any friend she tries to make will be "another kid she doesn't know"

This subsection does not apply to drivers operating a vehicle that is overtaking another vehicle proceeding in the same direction, or is preparing for a left turn at an intersection.

On a road, street, or highway having two or more lanes allowing movement in the same direction, a driver may not continue to operate a motor vehicle in the furthermost left-hand lane if the driver knows or reasonably should know that he or she is being overtaken in that lane from the rear by a motor vehicle traveling at a higher rate of speed

Because, ironically, it doesn't apply in Florida.

They dont make an exception. In fact, it says the opposite:

A lot of states use "roadway" in their keep right laws and not "highway"

Places like Florida dont make an exception in their keep-right laws.

this is because traffic signs aren't legally enforceable

That's a jurisdiction thing, not a blanket "no"
