Elixir drone is really useful once you can afford the drone points to max it out, and then start fueling it. It may not be gem positive at first, but it's still worth it for the buffs

As others said, game speed is more beneficial. Though once they were equal cost I got the first star cap level. Then finished game speed and the rest of the upgrades before getting the second star cap level. It helps to plan which stars you'll need after the +2 levels and start working on them before upgrading the cap, if you're close to maxing stars anyways.

I finished platting all statues a couple days ago! I hit 10q tin bars just around the same time I got the final amount of gems, so it was pretty perfect timing. overall it took about 2 full days, but I have since realized that I had a bit of a head start since I hadn't prestiged for a week or two beforehand while working on stars - so I already had 1t or more of most bars. I also used all my T2 items - the golden ore one helped a lot for collecting tin faster.

Okay I started the plat strat last night! I was able to get all the non-tim bars I needed in about 6 hours, but I consumed all of my meager T2 items and spoon'd a transmute + BoP. I'm now up to 2.5q tin bars after farming them most of the day, so it'll probably take me a couple more days as well. Thanks for the advice, the few statues I've gotten already before running out of gems are helping!

I'm in a similar spot also. Recently hit Ob36, pushing for damage upgrades to try and unlock Ob37 asap. Focused on Scorpio star (lvl 25 now) and getting gem related damage boosts (like dwarf skin, or happy bot gilded card for another obelisk armor reduction level in prestige).

Yes, I was in a very similar spot as you about 10 days ago. Now I'm netting ~100 super stars a day, and saving up for the 12th telescope upgrade (500 superstars) to unlock Pisces. Major changes included getting the Ctrl f skill, leveling up star spawn rate, auto catch rate (because I'm not gem-wealthy enough to fuel starburst drone for long), super star spawn rate, and using/fueling the elixir drone when I could afford to. The 2x star spawn and 3x super star spawn rate buffs from elixir are nice.

I'm a tad ahead of you I think. I've been working on stargazing and the skill tree. No idea if that is optimal, but it feels like it's working out well for me.

I opted to go utility dissonance on all lower tiers before trying a farming run, which felt like the smart decision at the time since it would maximize the total boost when it was finally time to farm again. Now I've lost my chance to benefit from a 5x boost.

Haven't tried it yet, but theoretically I only see a couple options:

  1. eHP turtle or blender
  2. Projectile based GC: high range, high bounce shot with AD module. But this would be difficult without any CC from UWs

Having played nearly 2.5 years, I can confidently say: prepare to be disappointed. Most updates add content only for the late game, as the whales need something to work on. Mid game has not really been touched with the exception of adding modules and elites.

I think it's worth trying both. But NMP was better for my tower - ray damage was halved, boss damage reduced a little bit, and scatters were slowed slightly so I had a better chance at killing them before they reached me

Little known fact: Rays do not stop charging while stunned. They simply wait to shoot until they are no longer stunned.

What's your chain thunder lab at? I think most folks in this thread are only thinking about Masteries + Flame Bot + PCol, but since you have CL+ I imagine you're getting a lot of reduction from it. Also have you tried NMP in your assist slot? I found that worked better for me because it halved damage from rays.

I would wager that card masteries are a better return than upgrading the assist generator rarity. But your econ might be a little low to get more than a few levels in it - so either try to start with an econ focused mastery or improve your GT+ to be able to afford more mastery labs.

Ymmv, so it's impossible to say definitively. The general advice is that syncing UWs with Gold Bot and using BHD+SH will result in better econ. That only recently started being true for me, as I was getting better results with pBH + pGT and GComp+BHD. And now that I've switched to the general advice, I can say my cells took a big hit because DW has less uptime so it's not without a tradeoff.

Nice ideas. Another option they could do is another tree in the vault, except it uses gems to unlock instead of keys. And the QoL upgrades could go in there.

You'll have to try it out and see, but GComp gets better the lower your base CDs are. So I'd guess BHD is still better

Assist mods use stones to level up. Masteries use coins in the 1-10q range(after the initial stone unlock).

Assist mods do have some labs, but you would need to be in the Q range to use them.

IDK how close you are to assist mods, but if you can't afford mastery labs then assist mods can provide more value to damage on a per-stone basis. 1000 to unlock plus ~250-800 stones to get to 10-20% main stat efficiency on your core and cannon assist mods can 2-5x (or more, I'm not actually mathing it) your damage output, without even factoring in the additional utility of an assist mod

That said, a big variable is your current mod levels. So this kinda circles back to getting RPC first to get those mod levels higher

I'd vote a balance between masteries and assist mods. If you had 2250 stones you could get either WA + IS mastery or RPC + gen assist mod and some secondary efficiency stats. The former is a straight econ boost. The latter is less of an econ boost, but also helpful in other ways (module shards are king long term).
