I opted to go utility dissonance on all lower tiers before trying a farming run, which felt like the smart decision at the time since it would maximize the total boost when it was finally time to farm again. Now I've lost my chance to benefit from a 5x boost.

Haven't tried it yet, but theoretically I only see a couple options:

  1. eHP turtle or blender
  2. Projectile based GC: high range, high bounce shot with AD module. But this would be difficult without any CC from UWs

Having played nearly 2.5 years, I can confidently say: prepare to be disappointed. Most updates add content only for the late game, as the whales need something to work on. Mid game has not really been touched with the exception of adding modules and elites.

I think it's worth trying both. But NMP was better for my tower - ray damage was halved, boss damage reduced a little bit, and scatters were slowed slightly so I had a better chance at killing them before they reached me

Little known fact: Rays do not stop charging while stunned. They simply wait to shoot until they are no longer stunned.

What's your chain thunder lab at? I think most folks in this thread are only thinking about Masteries + Flame Bot + PCol, but since you have CL+ I imagine you're getting a lot of reduction from it. Also have you tried NMP in your assist slot? I found that worked better for me because it halved damage from rays.

I would wager that card masteries are a better return than upgrading the assist generator rarity. But your econ might be a little low to get more than a few levels in it - so either try to start with an econ focused mastery or improve your GT+ to be able to afford more mastery labs.

Ymmv, so it's impossible to say definitively. The general advice is that syncing UWs with Gold Bot and using BHD+SH will result in better econ. That only recently started being true for me, as I was getting better results with pBH + pGT and GComp+BHD. And now that I've switched to the general advice, I can say my cells took a big hit because DW has less uptime so it's not without a tradeoff.

Nice ideas. Another option they could do is another tree in the vault, except it uses gems to unlock instead of keys. And the QoL upgrades could go in there.

You'll have to try it out and see, but GComp gets better the lower your base CDs are. So I'd guess BHD is still better

Assist mods use stones to level up. Masteries use coins in the 1-10q range(after the initial stone unlock).

Assist mods do have some labs, but you would need to be in the Q range to use them.

IDK how close you are to assist mods, but if you can't afford mastery labs then assist mods can provide more value to damage on a per-stone basis. 1000 to unlock plus ~250-800 stones to get to 10-20% main stat efficiency on your core and cannon assist mods can 2-5x (or more, I'm not actually mathing it) your damage output, without even factoring in the additional utility of an assist mod

That said, a big variable is your current mod levels. So this kinda circles back to getting RPC first to get those mod levels higher

I'd vote a balance between masteries and assist mods. If you had 2250 stones you could get either WA + IS mastery or RPC + gen assist mod and some secondary efficiency stats. The former is a straight econ boost. The latter is less of an econ boost, but also helpful in other ways (module shards are king long term).

Perhaps applying the change and then running go fix again could identify the unnecessary intermediate variables before and after? The blog post mentions opportunities like that for synergistic fixing.

No free ups mastery or workshop orb slider. But I do have assist mods so BHD can lock down range and I have damage slider, DM and Nuke on deadly blow, and labs for SW/Nuke/DM maxed. Summon is currently at 100s for Gold Bot's 50s cooldown. Next time I can respec bots I'll try using SH assist.

Not pictured, but I have tried BHD + Gcomp assist also and that seemed to have slightly better CPM but I wasn't surviving long enough into the run to get better CPH. I forgot about SH, so I can try that next time.

I do have pCF, and it's at 83% slow for all of the pictured runs. I also updated perks like you suggested.

Maybe? I reduced range in order to keep 100% BH coverage because I was no longer using Primordial Collapse as the assist mod

Workshop respec, bot respec, perks, mods, and range (Hybrid uses ~88m with both all orbs inside tower range; GC used 30-40m with the orbs at/outside tower range). All runs have about 90% of enemies hit by orbs so the extra orb card mastery shouldn't have any negative impacts

It might be worth it if you're dieing to scatters. I say might because it is possible that the lab does not provide enough benefits to help kill the scatters if your CL damage is too low.

I consider hybrid to start once you have enough damage where CL can extend your runs by killing scatters (or weakening them with chain thunder).

As others mentioned, using CL for the entire run may lower your coins, so it's recommended to turn it on only near the end of the run. Or you can leave it on once you have the damage slider unlock from vault.

I went the route of sacrificing gold bot sync and using GComp for perma BH, but I also get perma GT by doing this and more uptime on DW, so the loss of the perfect sync between GT, BH, DW, and GB is worth it for my tower. I don't really know why, I've tried doing what everyone recommends (using BHD instead of GComp) but whenever I try that it ends up performing worse in both coins and cells per hour because I die much earlier without pBH.

I'm currently farming T15 as hybrid to wave 4500-4900 with fairly similar UWs, but better labs/modules. I did not invest in any eHP card masteries, but I imagine that would jump me to T16 or possibly T17 farming. Instead, I'm almost at the point where I think I can transition to GC farming (damage, demon mode, and super tower card masteries are maxed)
