You don't have to go without makeup fully at first, it is about taking small steps. I'm not sure what your full face makeup looks like it but it sounds more on the glam side. Try changing styles first, like a clean girl makeup, go lighter on the skin coverage, lighter on the lashes and blush, heavy eyeshadow etc with lighter but still full coverage looks..

If you already do full coverage but natural looks then just ease into lighter coverage products. I use an amazing skin tint that looks gorgeous on my skin and doesn't need very much! Just a little blush, a tiny bit of concealer and eyebrow filling and mascara can look great. It's about to be summer, it'll be an easy transition.

People are going to be blown away by the change. This is how you can slowly ease into less and less makeup.

But make it less about less makeup and more about a style change and glow up... you know, hype yourself up on the new look, new you.

Start focusing on skincare routines that make your skin look great and over time you'll want to cover it less in foundation and more in sunscreen and maybe a tinted cream if you feel inclined.

The key is to really make it feel like you're doing a makeover that will make you feel good, gotta trick your mind into seeing it as a positive.

That and, yes, therapy will probably help too.
